Lake fishing on Saturday

With the winds being light on Saturday we want to chase some kings between olcott and the niagara river. Any advice on depths to start. With the cold water I would assume it would be a spoon program. Thanks for any help. This will be a first for this time of the year

Head out deep (400’) fish 20-40’ down for 1year olds. For size 200’-300’ FOW anywhere from 60’ to the bottom. You will see deep bait on bottom and the older year classes should be there. Use your graph. A slow spoon or deep meat program should work.

Dissapointed today. Made all the way down to the launch but last night some ice blew to the south shore. The harbor had too much to get out. From what I could tell it was 1/2" thick. Not worth it. Too bad cause the lake looked good.

Did you go to the canal or the park just outside of Ithaca I forgot the name of it but taughannock falls has a bubbler system

My bad . Took it for granite it was the finger lakes.
