Gas Prices

I'm curious what gas prices are near each of you. It's STILL $2.85/gal. here in Ithaca, but I saw it for $2.57 in Auburn on Monday. My sister called from Holland, MI last night and said that gas there is $2.09/gal. How much is it near you? Sure do wish the gas sitting in my boat didn't cost me $4.65/gal!!

$ 2.58 in Franklin Pa.- app. 50 miles from where it is refined. Talked to my dad who is vacationing down in Sanibel Island Florida. Said on the island it was $2.47- Go figure-

at the Indian Reservation by the Catt....dropped it to $2.34 about

an hour before we got there according to the attended. Otherwise

2.83 local.

At home in western Massachussetts,it's anywhere from 2.19 to 2.29 a gallon.Man!,what's the deal with NY.I suppose by the time i bring the new boat up to Olcott,Gas prices ther will be even higher.

I didn't want to tow with a full tank of fuel in the boat,but i will if there's a huge price difference.

The wholesale price for gas right now is around $1.36/gal at auction. In a normal environment upstate New York pays about a dollar a gallon above wholesale after delivery, markup, and taxes are added on. It is still around $2.75 in the Buffalo area. Why that is no one seems to have a clue. It will go down at some point to be more in line with the rest of upstate I think.

my boss was in from Detroit yesterday and said he paid 1.98 per gallon with cash. It was 2.09 with a charge card. anyone else heard of the discount by paying with cash? My parents in Ohio are paying 2.19
