That's a great buck!! Can I ask a question out of curiosity? Has the lack of antlers over 5 years been due to no opportunities at any antlered deer or passing up smaller ones? Just curious. Regardless, great deer and congrats!! Tank

the first four years were no opportunities and the last year i popped my shoulder out of place when i was drawing on a nice 2 1/2 year old. My own fault, buck fever got the best of me and i forgot all of the fundelmentals.

But i have been trying to do a qdma called "earn a buck" its basically shoot a doe before you shoot a buck. i think its been working.

I agree that is a great first buck!! and to me any deer with a bow is a trophy

Way to go....fantastic first buck. I agree with JR - any deer with the bow is a trophy. I'm sure you're still smiling ear to ear....and you'll never forget it!!
