Yes outboards drain completely, as long as you lower it when you get in the parking lot, then raise it up for travel. I never had a problem in thirty years of fishing in the winter….

Me too.  Anybody with ideas on how to break up the ice I'm willing to help...

I chopped it out myself on Sunday 2/3. Only took me 30 minutes. Been out 4 times since. Fishing good if you don’t mind catching lake trout or ‘lake carp’ as i call them. The browns mixed in have been good ones tho. No complaints on the number of fish we are catching. IMG_2097.JPGIMG_2082.JPGIMG_2073.JPG

Anyone know if the Taughannock North Point shore is clear enough for some shore fishing?  Is it usually pretty clear there, with the creek flowing in?

Hey Doc.....nice going. Beautiful browns. No need to tell me any secrets, but I assume you use standard stickbaits that go down 3to 10 ft.   Correct?
