Here is a great opportunity for a whole family or a  beginner or a pro to spend time on a WEEKEND in central New York. There is a great lineup of speakers and they should have some valuable (and hopefully entertaining) information to share.

Attendees  can register here: http://ilovenyfishing.com/ (registration link under main display)

or here: www.nyseagrant.org/losportfish (registration link on the left)

The sites both need a moment to load.

Please show support and attend or pass on to a friend.

THANKS Jerry

Did anyone  else notice the marquee photo backdrop of the poster ?

A fly fisherman. Imagine that .

With trout season opening up in about 1 week in that entire part of the state, and Bass Pro Shops carries just about everything for everyone's outdoor needs, would seam like a pretty good business move to promote what is in season currently. I appreciate Bass Pro shops supporting any recreation in N.Y. State, They also still sell firearms and offer training         examples:   "37+ STATE CONCEALED CARRY FIREARM PERMIT & GUN LAW CLASSES" & "NY Handgun Safety Pistol License Course"

I thought it was a LAKE ONTARIO thing ? No closed season .

Look at the symposium goals .

I appreciate Bass Pros support , but it is just good business sense .

Free online Registration is closed,  BUT you can still just show up, I just confirmed.

GOALS:     "A Lake Ontario FISHERIES ( this includes ALL warm water species and bays/ponds/tributaries ETC.).  awareness & opportunities for all-aspiring anglers and help retention and recruitment in these fisheries.

When you buy a N.Y. state fishing license , it supports all fisheries, not just the one pourpous it was bought for.
