3/18 The Oak

Fished from 7:30-9:30 along the breakwall. Didn’t catch anything. No bites even. I was using a firetiger casting spoon, little Cleo’s spoon and a jointed rapala brown trout. I’ll be headed out again towards the end of the week. I will say the sunrise was beautiful as always. Amazing what that sight and a little fishing does for the soul.

I was just casting from shore on the east side of the river. There was a little color in the lake too.
