I believe I heard earlier in the year that Al passed away around the December time frame. I am not sure if anyone plans to continue making the holders.

Al passed away this past winter of 2024

Brian, do you know whether Tim is using the same transparent covering as Big Al? You probably remember that I demo'd some of these as he was going through vendors trying to optimize the product. The first couple he sent me, the plastic covering got brittle and shredded over the winter, whether it was stored inside or out. But Al was really trying to make a great product and he replaced them for me as he updated vendors. This last round I've had for five years and it doesn't poke easily (ie, no hooks in the leg while leaning against it), it stays transparent, and it's still in great shape. Whatever he settled on, it's the cat's meow (or cat's a$$ as Scotty would say).

I will have to ask him.  I have no idea.

I am Alan's widow. He passed away July 23, 2023. No more lure holder pads. I do not plan to continue his business.

Condolences! Alan was a gentleman and contributed greatly to the sport. He will be missed.
