Successful shakedown. Found a half dozen browns. Spoons & sticks off boards, most were in shallow. Fire tiger was good early. Water temps 35-36, good color to the east.

Successful shakedown. Found a half dozen browns. Spoons & sticks off boards, most were in shallow. Fire tiger was good early. Water temps 35-36, good color to the east. 

We had similar conditions on our shakedown. Went 14 for 14 on sticks and spoons. Bite went dead around 9:30.

Small browns were all eating Goby, one of the bigger ones had eaten 5 yearling Alewife....maybe a positive sign for the 2018 Alewife yearclass.

How do you know they were alewives?  Do you have a degree or something?  Get the Kaho fired up!
