Keating on kings book

Is the book worth buying for a guy that knows the basics. I'm looking for a book for the Intermediate level.

Yes, definitely. This book covers more refined techniques for catching Kings in more detail than his first book.

Very great book! Highly recommended. And it's great to go back to specific chapters throughout the season for a refresher.

So you are talking about book #2??

His first solo book was called Great Lakes Salmon and Trout Fishing- Essential Tactics and Seasonal Strategies. The OP asked about Keating on Kings which is, as I described previously, more focused on King fishing.

He  has a Part II of that book, I saw it on his web page its a DVD, my bad on calling it a book.

i bought both of his books before i really got into fishing lake o. it taught me what equip to buy and how to rig and the various techniques. i still read both books a few months before i actually fish as a refresher.
