Lake Ontario Satellite Images Over The Years

Here's an image I created showing end of march conditions for Lake Ontario going back to 2007.

 

The images vary by a few days each year due to cloud cover I tried to pick the clearest image to show the year to year changes.  Lots of ice in the north east corner of the lake this year but lots of rain over the weekend has it melting fast.

Funny, that is what i was concentrating on also.

2015 we were ice fishing out of that Catt April one on 20 inches of ice in 60 degree sunshine. For the last two weeks of March it was possibly the best ice fishing for perch I have ever seen. We were getting eyes, perch and huge small mouth.
