Anybody got an easy way to get flotation foam Styrofoam out from under the seats of a metal row boat with metal seats without drilling all the rivets out and flipping the seats over. Or will it dry eventually and I know it probably won’t. The guy I bought it from stored it right side up outside for years it was full of water

Wow 48 views and no easy way . I guess I know how I’m spending the weekend. Just like my grand father use to say you get what you pay for. Keeps me out of the house.

Don't know if this will help, but I remember putting either paint thinner or lacquer thinner in a styrofoam cup and it immediately dissolved.

There's got to be some unfriendly chemical that could dissolve it, otherwise just have to cut it out.

Anything is worth a try rather than drilling out the rivets
