Is 30lb braid good for King salmon, I’m spooning 2 303d Coldwater reels  with braid , want to be able to use for both salmon and walleye

Dipsy setups ? Just use wire. Works fine for both and less worry when the fleas roll in. I used my wires all season for king's and a few times for walleyes.

I should have said dispy setup , I have wire setup just wanting some braid

Not the best reels for wire , I'd upgrade to convectors atleast they take alot of punishment an will eventually fail

30# braid is fine for double duty. The issue with braid is once the fleas are bad you will wish you had ss wire.

7 strand for sure. I prefer Blood Run. On a 30 series Okuma you will need 300' of 25# test backing plus 1000' of wire to completely fill the spool.
