anyone know if the southshore launch is ice free?

Talked to a friend last night who was at the SSBL East of Bridgeport on Monday, & he says the water is up & ice free.

Not sure if they took the dock out though. Even if they took the dock out you can still launch easily.

the docks are out at the boat launch; took them out the day I launched about 2 weeks ago!

The launches closed up over the weekend but opened back up. Went out of Godfrey's on the north shore yesterday....100 yards of slush and then smooth sailing. Walleyes off the boards with rr deep rippers 180 back at 1.5 mph. all big fish. Good luck.

What did they do? Take the floating docks out 3 weeks ago and then put them back ?

No .The docks are out for the year. Ramp is slick too if you go.
