Nice birds everybody.  I finally got one Sunday morning along with some morels.

Slipbob, last night I had fresh gobbler breast breaded in panko and fried in butter, smothered in a morel, ramp, cream wine sauce.  Might be one of the top 5 meals I've ever eaten!

I did turkey legs and thighs last night in an instapot with veggies. It came out great. In my opinion it is the best part of the bird.

Was out with a buddy turkey hunting and we found some morels also. Can't wait to go back and pick more. Nice bird and morels

Try dipping them in egg and shaking in crushed up saltines, then frying in butter.  My favorite way to make them.

That sounds fantastic!!  I often take the morels and make risotto.

I shot another tasty Jake last weekend. I have not tagged out on Turks in about 15 years!
