Thanks for the correction - yes technically a 9.5. Apologies if I mislead by 0.4hp. I’ve always commonly referred to them as 9.9.

They stopped making those in 1971, but they are very nice light weight trustworthy outboards.

Thanks Rolmops. I actually think this is a 1973 based on serial number. I’ve owned it for about 10 years with no issues.
