1989 Penn Yan 262 Competitor 26ft.  Charter Boat from Cayuga lake.   Original Merc 5.7L inboard. This boat has been stored since 2009, started and run on land every year and winterized...but not in the water in 10 years! Former charter boat so the decks are worn. Boat could could use some TLC But consider it a clean slate for you to outfit as you want! How come it was stored so long? Does it come with any fishing equipment?

No fishing equipment to speak of,  it is all pretty ancient.  The reason it was stored so long is the prev owner had a tragedy and could not use it.

I would like to know if it works or not that may reflect price. Not sure if there is anyway of testing without being in the water. We have the exact boat and would like an auto pilot

Unknown hours as there is no hour meter but engine is clean and fired right up.  Prev owner started it every year,  then rewinterized it .

It looks like the autopilot is a King AP2000. There is a service center in Florida that still repairs them if needed.
