I never here of these used in Lake Ontario.  I would think they would be dynamite for spring Browns.  No?  Guys on Champlain use them a lot, or is that only because they’re after atlantics?

Plenty of guys use small divers early in the season here and they can be deadly at times.

We use a #2 Chinook diver for spring Browns and Kings.

They also work very well behind a planer board. Was a killer set last year on erie for eyes. You can run a harness behind them without line twist issues

Had great luck with the BJ Deeper Divers in chartreuse. Ran them off of 30lb Braide straight to the Diver and a 12# Fluoro leader around 7’ long. That set up took more shots than any of the other rigs on the boat for both browns and spring kings. In about 20 FOW, we ran them 40’ out on the line counter which gave us about a 15’ Dive.
Worked fantastic especially in dirty water!
