Sandy Creek public launch

I looked at the launch today and couldn’t determine how long the concrete ramp is.   Will my tandem axel trailer drop off the end before the boat floats?  23’ GW on a 26’ trailer. Just need to submerge the fenders, ( 28” of water).  Any info is appreciated!

No worries now. Funky end of summer with low water but usually then you have clear water and can pre inspect.

No problem. Ramp goes about as far as end of the docks.

We launched there Tues afternoon with no problem.   The first ten feet of dock is 5” underwater.

What legacy said is correct.   I watched one guy that put his in to far & got it stuck, had to have a tow truck their, etc. it was quite the production getting it unstuck.

Wanted to launch here on Saturday morning. Would I be better off at bald eagle or east fork?

you should be fine, just don't let your trailer tires get beyond the last post of the dock....... with the water this high, there's no way you should need to......bring boots.
