With lake levels rising daily, is the launch area accessible?

yes but the first 10 feet of the public launch is under water by a couple inches. Bring boots!

If it keeps rising it’s going to get closed again.

LOL i figured if it could be done that you would know how.  I remember adjusting and resticking  the ones at East Fork two years ago in the flood but not sure what could be done to the ones at the public launch.

Too bad, for 30 plus years they’ve been awesome.

was hoping to launch there next weekend hope there still open.  who owns the launch is it the town or county or DEC?  budget might be part of the reason they haven't done much yet.  Higher than average water levels are going to be a lot more common going forward eventually all the launches may need some renovations.

The launch is owned by the NY state but it is maintained by the Town of Hamlin. Yes, It needs to be updated.
