Lake Ontario- Earlier last week the trout and salmon were swimming some where besides the south shore of Lake Ontario. However, as it frequently happens on the “big lake”…they are back.

The king bite is on and they are in 100 to 150 feet of water. Spoons are still what’s working. Colors have been black and green or orange. Use your favorite spoon: Moonshine, NK’s, Stingers, etc.

The browns and some steelhead are also hitting. Charter boats are using boards, downriggers, and divers and are fishing straight out from Sodus Bay or straight out from Hughes’ Marina.
