Do you need a coated cable for the Depth Rader down temp? also do you need a coated cable for the the X4 down temp? if so where would I look for the cable.

Depth Raider uses coated cable and antenna.  Fish Hawk uses a transducer to receive signal from probe-no coated cable..

Make sure if you purchase the coated cable that you follow the instructions on terminating it properly so that you get the proper signal to your Depth Raider unit.
