Wire diver build

Hey all,

 

Looking to get another wire diver. I bought one years ago and love it. Can’t seem to find the same brand anymore tho. Mine has rollers all the way down the rod. It seems like a lot of people take a regular rod and then replace the tip with a roller? Does that sound right? Any tips for what rod/ tip to get for salmon fishing with dipsys?

Okuma Classic Pro Glt rod.  Epoxy a twili tip on the end. Spool up with bloodrun wire and don’t look back.

Check the Talora wire rods. They have rollers the whole way .They come in several different lengths

A 10 ft rod is a must. I don't remember the brand of wire. Whatever B & E tackle in stock at the time. Your local table shop should have what you need.
