So how do you guys figure out what color spoon or flasher/ fly to use? Is it darker colors early in the morning and brighter colors when the sun comes up? What’s the rule of thumb if there is one?

anything green or blue any time or depth. they are the last colors to disappear in deep water.  after 60 to 90 feet depending on water clarity most colors look different shades of black.   anything that glows when your down over 30 feet wont hurt you either.

White, Green, Black, Silver - any spoons/flashers that put those in some kinda combination, importance listed in decreasing order

Something with glow in it in the AM.  UV in it after the sun comes up.  Thats usually what works for us.

Have you guys seen the new caddy shack fly? I bought a UV purple/silver flasher with it. Before that purchase, everything I run is green glow or UV. Aside from my white/silver flasher UV with a white meat rig. Which has consistently caught the biggest fish on my boat.

I messaged you. If you can make a run up to Sodus and stop into Davenport's. What is inside that shop that matters. They carry a ton of Koyote gear.
