Henderson Harbor

Anyone having any luck in the Henderson Harbor area?  Can I get a starting point to start the morning off and then I'll adjust as needed.

what are  fishing for? I was up there for the first time may 15-20  for walleyes it was kinda tough. the most I saw the charters bring in at Hechins was 2. A lot of lakers came in. but I did get one 9 lbs in the Black river area. bomber 24a white  / orange back, 20'down over 45'. I am sure its all different now. I am going back this Wed. Lets keep talkin.

I've heard that there is a ton of bait being marked out of Henderson area, and not many fish being caught.

Waters been cold. I’ve been fishing 50ft of water and hitting 47 degrees 20-35ft down. Short core 4,5,7 have been producing fish. Seems like it’s going to be another good year!

I didn't mark much today off mountain/finger. Did manage to catch (release) first tagged fish. I've only been fishing here 3 years and working on learning the seasonal pattern.

That's more than a little wading right there. I'm sure the wind today and recent rainfall  didn't help at all.

No. The water isn't usually this high. Typically the water level in June is perfect about 34" lower.
