Just bought the new Furuno FCV 588 and thruhull transducer. Trying to find info or settings to track fish while on the run?

The Furuno is very user friendly, but the best advice is really in the user manual. Best screen scrolling speed is important because that will give the right size fish marks and so on. Watch some YouTubes and play with it in demo mode.

Set on narrow cone angle full screen and turn the gain down until the clutter goes away.
