Has anybody been out jigging on Cayuga in the past week or so?  Just wondering how the jigging has been, thinking about getting out July 4th early in the morning before there is too much boat activity.  We did well the last time we were out, but that was about a month ago, and i know the lake has been changing a lot since then.  Not looking for anything too specific, just general reports if anybody has been out.  Thanks!!

The algae bloom really messed things up last year when we were up to do some jigging probably one of the worst bites i have encountered on Cayuga hope that doesn't come back this year !!!

I hadn't thought about the algae bloom, that is a good point.  I wouldn't be surprised with the heat we've been having if that shows up at any point.

I actually have been following John's reports for years, and just finished reading his reports from the past few days.  I will post a report if we get out tomorrow.

We have been catching slobs on the north end for the past few weeks. Every fish is 8-10 lbs. We caught our fish jigging 30 to 50 ft of water. I usually go out in the evening around 7 and we have been consistently getting these big lakers.
