Was out yesterday, none at all.

I was out this am in Mexico. Few fleas about 1% of what it was like at this time last year. Last 4th of July I was pulling lines every 20 mins or fleas would build up so bad they would pop my rigger releases. All I saw today were clustered around my copper/backing knots and swivel knots. I’ll take that anyday compared to last year!

 

on the other hand I caught fish last 4th of July... today I did not. Super slow, marked no bait and only a few fish.

Last night at Fairhaven, very little. But, water temps are changing rapidly. So I figure the little buggers will be around soon.

Fished 7/2-7/3 , hardly no fleas , but big trash lines out there in 220 fow.
