Lake Ontario-The kings have been straight-out from Sodus Bay and Hughes’ Marina. There is no need to waste gas.

The latest set-up has been 50 to 90 feet down over 100 to 200 feet of water. The kings are hitting spoons, spoons and more spoons. Glow with green and black and silver. Some of the salmon are also biting on cut bait.

Lakers are on the bottom in 90 feet of water. Cowbells and peanuts are on the riggers.

Remember, the LOC Summer Derby continues through July 28. All the info is at www.loc.org

Currently, a 27-pound king leads the contest.

The Sodus Pro-Am will take place next week, July 17-21 for the IK a day, with the main event July 20-21st. For more information check their Facebook page at Sodus Pro-Am.
