We have nothing but blacktails 75 miles west and only mullies 75 miles east.

Here in the foothills we have these guys.

BIG ears like a mullie and tiny bodies like a blacktail. Maybe 100-140 pounds on the hoof. 80-120 feild dressed.

When we get deer in the mountains we call them mullies but down here near placerville we call them blacktails. Go figure?
