Fixing Trolling Flies

Came into a few boxes of older mylar (?) trolling flies.  Many of them were folded or bent over.  Other than that, they appear to be in great shape.  Is there any way to straighten the kinked material?  How do you store your flies to keep them straight?

I store them in tubes, both rigged not rigged.

I buy 3/4 ID clear tubing from lowes and cut it into 4.5" tubes.  I slit both ends and wrap the leader end to end of the tube so it stays nice and neat.  I also write the fly color on the outside of the tube.

Gambler, do you cap them or leave them open?

I leave them open.  It allows them to dry after use.
