After boat issues , work issues, party issues , decided to go out this morning with my wife and son for a few hrs . 

 

Been wanting to R&D my Gary D rig more so I put all my eggs in one basket and put 4 out . 2 riggers 2 dipsy 

 

Got about 14 hits all told and landed 6 . Could not keep them on . Switched from a treble to a single 3/0 or 5/0  owner octopus . Swims better but I think it cost me fish . But the ones I  bring in are hooked rock solid .  

 

Also broke off another 2 bait heads this time to 25# Seagaur STS . I tested it by hooking it on to a chair and ranking on it and it would not break . I wonder if they are bite offs . 

 

Anyway 80 to 120 , 70 to 100 ft down . 

Big white flashers were best . 

 

Mix of Lakers , a nice 10# steelhead , and biggest king maybe 18#

 

Off the water by 830 . .
