Snelling flies

Instead of using 40 or 50 lb fluorocarbon has anybody snelled flies with braided line for a little different action Tx

The heavy mono is stiff and adds action to the fly.  Braid, not so much..

I have seen differences in what fish want as I have tied flies with 30 and 50lb mono.  But I agree that braid is just too wimpy.
