I'm thinking of camping at Grass Point sometime in the next week or two, (work allowing). So it will be the first week or two of August. I usually just bring a bunch of rods and cruise around looking for action. I've done well in Flynn bay and Lake of the Isle on green fish, smalies here and there, and ok on pike in Eel bay. Last summer was the slowest fishing I've had in the St Lawrence. I'm curious if I could get any advice on techniques for pike, what kind of structure to look for, etc. Even if it's not an ideal time, it's the time I have. I don't really care what species, as long as it's bass or pike.Thanks.

We fish Clayton area a few times a year. I dont normally look for structure too much. You can really drift along the weed beds. We cast Mepps #5's, gaint killers and long casts. As far as bass go we just drift in 15-25' with some sort of live bait. Worms, minnows or crayfish. Hope that helps. I'll be up there in a couple weeks
