July 27 morning:

No shortage of action for this group up from Williamsport, PA. Rock Marshall brought up his son and some friends to experience Lake Ontario Salmon fishing, and they got spoiled!

The morning bite was uncontrollable! Familiar Bite meat was going steady on our 70 & 80' Cannon Downriggers, and out 175-225' on our divers. It was tough getting our junk lines in with the action, but we eventually did. However, they didn't do much for us only going 1/4 on them. Spoons that took hits today were a carbon 14, Green Nuke, Gold 42, and UV Beefeater. Cleaned a 5 man limit of Salmon, 1 Lake Trout, and lost double digits. Biggest today was 21lbs, but a lot of nice 15-18lb fish got cleaned.

July 27 afternoon:

Last night we had a local family from Rochester, NY. Started the trip off with a bang boxing a 24lb Salmon, and then picked away at them the rest of the night. Familiar Bite Atlantic Herring and Ballyhoo accounted for all our bites. Our Cannon Downriggers at 50, 70, and 85'. Wire divers out 175-250'.

July 28th:

BLOODBATH bite this morning, but when Mike Avilla and family come up they always strike it right! It took us 30+ bites to get our 12 by 9am. We had Familiar Bite Ballyhoo on one side and Atlantic Herring on the other. Cannon downriggers down 70 & 85'. Wires out 175-200'. 300' A-Tom-Mik Mfg. coppers pulling a NBK spoon and a Team Dreamweaver Lucky Charms Cut Plug took fish as well.
