Dipsys for lakers

Does anyone use dipsys for trout on the Canandaigua or Keuka. I knowndown riggers work best but don’t have them wondering if I can get away with dipsys.

Always have dipsys in the water in combination with riggers. A lot of the time dipsys out fish my downriggers.

I ONLY fish dipsies !  3 every time I go out. #61&44 Sutton’s round out the package. I’ve gotten more than my share of lakers and rainbows.

Would rather have dipsys than riggers when it comes to summer fishing personally!

I use 1 downrigger and 2 Dipsey Divers on Cayuga Lake from May-October. I go down with the diver 90 ft typically. It’s a #3 with a ring. Good luck I think you will do just as well as any downrigger.
