Good morning from Ohio!
Day one.
Sitting on a ridge between the first and bedding. Fields consist of cut hay, food plot, and a mineral site.
Turkeys have just started sounding off.
Saw three bucks on the drive to the property this morning. One of those was easily a shooter.
130" minimum here.

Weather forecast isn't much different from the one at home for the next few days minus the snow. Doesn't snow all that much here apparently.

I'm in a 22' millennium ladder stand. Very comfortable.

Day 1
January 4 am
42 degrees and falling
NW wind 5-8 mph
Cloudy occasional sprinkle

Quiet first sit here in Ohio. After seeing bucks in the fields on the way here I was pretty optimistic for some am action but nothing. I did bump a couple of deer on the way in though. The only visitor this morning by the stand was a skunk... Not sure how to feel about that.

I’m with Dan, saw tons of deer in fields down through Pa and Virginia in the afternoon vs morning. Did you do the DIY hunt or guided? Seems like an awesome place.
