Day 1
January 4 pm
36 degrees
NW wind 5-15
Cloudy
Occasional shower


Sat in a ground blind on a food it this afternoon. No action until dusk. Two small bucks made an appearance. Four possible shooters seen this afternoon by the guys in camp but no shots.

Ohio Day 2
January 5 am
27 degrees
W wind calm becoming 10 mph
Cloudy becoming party sunny

Cold front finally settled in bring some colder temps. Which was great to see.

Hunted the same set as yesterday afternoon. Had two 2.5 year old bucks visit the plot early this morning.
Word around camp is that the morning was slow for everyone.

Has this outfitter shown you day light current pics in the places they are setting hunters?  I am closely watching this place and look forward to your experience.

I don’t think weather has helped at all. Snow and cold temps would have made deer movement significantly better.
I know on my properties I’m seeing very little activity.

Mostly sunny

Cool and crisp start this morning. Changed up spots and sat in a tower blind this morning. You could see a whole lot farther then you could ever should. Had a doe and a fawn come through early and that was it. Slow morning for everyone.
