Just had the buck from yesterday bump a doe and a fawn off the field.
They are in my woods in front of me somewhere and I'm sure this wind is working against me.

Just had five doe and a young 8 in front of me. Wind switched and off they went lol.

Back in overwatch. Same field as yesterday afternoon just a bit closer to where I saw deer enter the field but with this wind I am still not as close as I'd like to be.
The afternoon winds as supposed to get out of hand here. 20 sustained and 35+ gusts. Not too bad right now though.

Well I saw the same 8 from yesterday. He made an appearance 3-330 and chased the does off the field. Those three deer would be all I saw.

Just to confirm:

1) i did not use my buck tag during regular season or my buck tag for bow/crossbow season in NY.

2) i can now use 2 buck tags during muzzleloader, if killed with a muzzleloader/bow/xbow?

 

If this is true i will quit my job tomorrow and spend the remaining 6 days in the woods.
