X4 is all you need, knowing your down speed and temp will make you a much better fishermen. I have the X4D not worth the extra money as far as I can see.

I will sell you the 840 with everything but the probe gives you speed & temp at surface & bottom for $350

I have two complete fish hawk 840 units.... Two displays with wiring, two probes, and one transducer. $200 shipped, $175 picked up.
