Took the canoe out had the whole place to myself. Couldnt belive it a toasty 15 deg. smooth as glass and no one out. tried the topbite again for 3 hrs and nutin. so i deployed my one laker setup headed south on the west side and got 1 24" laker ,snow was getting deep in the canoe ,ran outa propane for the heater ,and the battery was wimping out ,so i tucked my tail and came home ....

I thought you fished from a larger boat last week. What is your laker set up for the canoe? What did you catch the laker on? How does the heater work in the canoe? I give you alot of credit for lasting 3 hours in 15 degree weather in a canoe. Your the man.

Only reason fer the heater was Ray's fishin' suit (buffy) got a bald spot on it. Prolly from the bear den incident, gotta keep that area warm now.
