oswego Oswego County Fishing Report for August 19, 2019: Big Kings, Rain, and Free Fishing Information

Notice: Due to high water levels, a local state of emergency order for a “No Wake Zone” has been established for boats 1,000 feet from the Lake Ontario shoreline and tributaries. All motorized boats within 1,000 feet of the shoreline and within these waterways must operate at an idle speed.

 

Notice: Now through Labor Day, New York State is offering free fishing on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. Also, 30 state parks along the shores are offering half-price vehicle entry and camping.

Here is what is happening on the Morgan the last three days. Things are a little challenging right now due to wind and storms moving around our cold water. We are managing to put fish in the box despite the conditions.
