slow fishing. the guys with me concentrated their efforts on pike and didnt have a flag. i spent the day chasing perch with very little luck. had a half dozen keepers amongst the couple dozen dinks. niagaras on the tip-downs and jigging rods with the same caught the fish. everyone who stopped to chat said its been a slow week there and they really had to work hard for what they kept. it can only get better there, i cant imagine anything much worse.

Same thing here. Fished Braddocks yesterday with only 2 hits on the tip ups and a few perch jigging. Very slow compared to what it was earlier in the year. Maybe next weekend will be better if I can with stand the sub zero temps in the forecast.... Thanks for the update!
