I use this type of bead swivels and they are great instead of barrel swivels. small but do a great job with line twist and are small enough to come Thur the eyes of all of my rigger rods I get mine at the THE SLIPPERY SINKER ( 716-778-0713 ) in Newfane ( Olcott harbor) I run them for my lead core and main rigger line tie them on with a regular improved cinch knot or what ever you feel comfy with. The sizes are in lbs I believe you can give them a call and they will set you up and answer any of your questions this is a great little shop with everything you need.

Most are using the Blood Knot or the Uni to Uni knot. There was a segment on North American Fisherman where they had "Know Wars." These two were the toughest knots for joining two lines. Check out this website for some help:

I'm a blood knot guy, but only becasue I haven't invested the time in learning the Uni to Uni. However, I hear it is much easier to tie, and that may be a reason I check it out.

Nice site Rich! I think that needs to be added as a permanent link to the Pro Accounts. I have always looked for a nice straight forward knot site like that.

Thanks
