Fished Canandaigua for about 5 hrs  on the south end. Not one hit. weeds and fleas were terrible could not get out of them. I had to clean lines constantly. it was the worst I have ever seen Canandaigua. the fleas were even all over my wire lines.

The water temperatures will have to come down quite a bit before the fleas abate e.g. below 60 on surface degrees usually. The weed thing is just as frustrating....and dependent on wind direction and velocity we are pretty much stuck with that as well. About the only thing to do right now is still fish for them if you are after the trout to eat. Otherwise it isn't a whole bunch of fun out there with all the rec boaters on most of the lake and the fleas and weeds  messing with trolling efforts.

Sorry to hear that. I’ve had days that I just can’t keep up and have to call it quits.
