Mexico Bay water temp

Any reports on water temp off the Salmon River to Sandy Pond?

 

Was off 9Mile last evening - surface temp was as low as 42°F in 80' and down temp was 37°F from 20' down to the bottom down to 120'. Strong offshore wind but Never seen it like that before this time of year

I am off sandy pond now in 150 ft. Temp down 60 is 51 deg. A few bait pods around 60 ft.but have not seen a fish anywhere since I started at 630 am

Sounds like they're in tight. Gotta be some trout around. They're my favorite #'s, especially with bait mixed in.

I think I might be double checking the calibration of my temp device with that 37 degree reading

I was kind of thinking the same thing.......37 degrees???

Sent down probe out of curiosity yesterday the 19th out of curiosity. 62° surface, 51°at 35', 44° bottom. Alot of young coho at the middle. Browns were everywhere.
