In my opinion, yes. But only if you stand hunt in cold weather often. I’ve hunted the fanatic bibs, jacket, and vest since 2015 and love it for stand sits below 30 degrees or so. Any warmer than that, or if moving, too hot. The vest is a really great mid-weather outer layer with a lot of the features of the jacket.

Thanks! I do several 5am in and 5pm out climber stand hunts so packability and warmth matters.

I rarely wear my bibs unless under 25 for the whole day. I get away with stratus pants with layering underneath with the fanatic coat if cold. Typical rut early November, stratus pants and coat with fanatic vest on outside of stratus coat.

There are several other brands out there that are just as good if not better (IMO) that might be worth a look before you decide.
