For Sale: 1997 Pro-Line walkaround. This is a freshwater only boat. This model and year of Pro-Line contains no wood in the construction, which means no rot anywhere. Powered by a Mercruiser 5.7LX, Thunderbolt Ignition, and pushed by a performance leading Bravo 3 outdrive. This power package makes maneuverability and handling a breeze for any boater. The boat is bottom painted with West Marine FW-21. Boat has dual batteries with a switch between them. This boat has been used as a pleasure and fishing boat in and around Chaumont, NY and has been very reliable and seaworthy for our family of five. Professionally winterized and wrapped each year I have owned it. Currently moored in Chaumont, NY. We enjoy this boat, but are going a different direction with our boating needs. There is a trailer included that has been, and should only be used as a STORAGE TRAILER. It can be registered, but am essentially selling the boat with a free trailer. Paperwork for boat and trailer are in hand. Please email or text with inquiries or questions.

Note:  I removed the passenger seat in order to put the cooler as shown in the pics.  I have the seat and it can be put back on easily. Currently listed at $10,900.  Time to move this one.  Make an offer.

Very cool boat

The previous owner liked to acid wash the hull often. The residual acid sat in any low spot in the trailer, and the wood bunks and rotted out the steel over time. The uprights holding the bunks are rotted out pretty bad. The boat will sit on the trailer in the yard for storage just fine, but I would not take it down the highway or over any bumps at speed. I can transfer the title to the new owner, but I would not recommend going far from Chaumont, NY with the boat on it. Just being honest.

These are great boats I picked up a 96 231WA last year with an outboard. Tons of room for fishing, no wood, good ride. This ones at a great price.

Thanks.  We really like this boat.  Family cruiser, salmon killer all with ease.  Has handled some rough slop here on the eastern end of Lake Ontario.  If it were bigger I would be keeping it.  She's going up for storage soon, need to move the new rig home.

I wonder what it what cost to have hauled over to Ontario (I am in Hamilton, Ontario); anyone have any ideas?

I don't have a hard and fast number for you on that one.  Maybe borrow a trailer from someone?  The spec sheet for this boat calls for a trailer rated for 5500 lbs for reference.

I was wondering about tariffs or any cross border taxes or issues?  Has anyone recently bought a boat from the US and brought back to Canada, what is the process?

Matt - I am inquiring on towing costs too if reasonable I will be in touch soon.

Cheers!

Just to let people know, I marked this ad "Sold/Closed" only so it didn't sit open ended out there in the interwebs indefinitely.  I still own the boat, and will still entertain offers and such until it sells.  I am going bigger and have my eyes on something.  This boat is currently professionally winterized, wrapped and sitting on the trailer.  If interested, make an offer.  I will let her go for a reasonable offer.

Matt.
