Lake Ontario and Bays

 

Lake fishing for Trout and Salmon is winding down, which is normal for this time of year. Salmon are around river mouths so fishing from piers can be good at times. Smallmouth Bass fishing usually continues to be good into the fall in the lake and around the bays. Largemouth Bass and some Yellow Perch are being taken in the bays.
