First Chautauqua Musky

We fought the wind this weekend and landed our first Chautauqua musky! Not a big one, but felt good!

Had a friend from ohio get his first chaut fish (50") also saturday on a Baker . Nice to see people catching the fever!

Nice job. Congrats. Chq is my home lake...I’m there almost every weekend unless I’m on a trip to Canada. We tried to cast most of the day Saturday but the wind made it pretty tough to fish where we wanted to. Switched to trolling Saturday afternoon and stuck with it through Sunday. Seems like it was a pretty decent weekend for catches.

Put a solid 2 days trolling there Monday and Tuesday without a bite. First time there - spent Monday trolling from south to north and back and Tuesday mostly south. Gave up and went to Waneta today and landed 2 in 4 hours. Chataqua was much tougher than I thought it would be.
