Rochester Reel Repair.  Which model is it?  If it is a Great Lakes Series, the parts are very hard to find.  Look him up on Facebook.

I had one lock up on me a few years ago. Took it apart and repaired it myself. They aren’t too bad to service yourself if you pay attention to detail.

It can help to take photos at different stages too so you can be sure of getting it back together correctly:smile:

Check out Rochester Reel Repair. I know he's backin' up with work, but if you're in the Rochester area he's the guy. If you're near Buffalo Tony's Rod and Reel Repair is pretty good too.

I have some new old stock for the GLs and a couple “parts” reels and can still rebuild the drags. Not quite done fixing and upgrading these yet...
